Hi. Ich bin Bettina & willkommen in meiner kleinen Kunstwelt.
Die Liebe zur Malerei begleitet mich schon mein ganzes Leben lang. Als kleines Mädchen konnte man mich stundenlang mit Buntstiften und Papier beschäftigen. Als ich ungefähr 10 Jahre alt war, versuchte ich mich erstmals an Aquarellfarben und mit ungefähr 19 Jahren entdeckte ich die Acrylfarben für mich – bei denen ich bis heute blieb.
Mein allererstes Acrylbild malte ich kurz nachdem der erste Sex and the City Film 2008 im Kino lief. Darin entdeckte ich ein Wandbild von Paul Smith. Darauf stand lediglich das Wort „LOVE“, jedoch gefiel es mir so gut, dass ich es unbedingt haben wollte. Schnell stellte ich fest, dass ein Original aufgrund des Preises für mich leider unmöglich erschwinglich ist und beschloss es daraufhin nachzumalen. 😉
Heraus kam sicher kein Meisterwerk, aber immerhin bedeutete dies den Anfang meines Weges zur Acrylmalerei.
Was dann aus Interesse und Neugier entstand, wurde heute zur Passion:
Gepackt von verschiedenen Techniken, Strukturpasten und Stilen, habe ich mich non stop weitergebildet und ausprobiert.
Heute inspirieren mich meine vielen Reisen durch bisher fast 50 Länder der Welt, Zeit in der Natur und auch Serien, Lifestylemagazine und mein alltägliches Leben. Ich besuche gerne Vernissagen, Museen und Ausstellungen auf der ganzen Welt um mir allerlei schöne Dinge anzusehen und danach meine ganz eigene Kreation aus den gesammelten Eindrücken entstehen zu lassen.
Heute wohne ich zwar in Wien, habe mir aber im Jahr 2023 in meiner Heimat, dem Grenzgebiet OÖ/NÖ, ein kleines Atelier eingerichtet, in dem ich so viel Zeit wie möglich verbringe und mich dort kreativ ausleben kann.

Hi. I‘m Bettina & welcome to my little creative artworld.
My love for paintings has been with me my whole life. As a little girl, I could spend hours with pencils and paper. When I was about 10 years old, I tried watercolors for the first time and when I was about 19, I discovered acrylic paints – which I have stuck with to this day.
I painted my very first acrylic painting shortly after the first Sex and the City film was shown in the cinema in 2008. In it, I saw a n artwork by Paul Smith. It only had the word „LOVE“ on it, but I liked it so much that I absolutely wanted it. I quickly realized that an original was unfortunately impossible for me to afford due to the price and so I decided to repaint it. 😉
It certainly wasn’t a masterpiece, but at least it was the beginning of my path to acrylic painting.
What then arose from interest and curiosity has now become a passion:
Different techniques, structure pastes and styles… I have been training and trying things out non-stop.
Today I am inspired by my travels through almost 50 countries around the world, spending time in nature and also series, lifestyle magazines and my everyday life in general. I like to visit vernissages, museums and exhibitions all over the world to look at all kinds of beautiful things and then create my very own artwork from the impressions I have collected.
Today I live in Vienna, but in 2023 I set up a small studio in my hometown, the border region of Upper Austria/Lower Austria, where I spend as much time as possible and where I can express myself creatively.
